We encourage you to research, research, research. Please consider the piglet. You must understand that caring for a pig is much like caring for a human child. Before you make the decision to adopt a piglet of your own. It is vital that you understand that you are making a 14-20 year commitment. 

We here at Dixie Pigs raise Miniature Pet Pigs. All our pigs have constant socialization and are maintained to the highest standard. We handle them every day from the time they are born. At 2 weeks of age the piglets are introduced to the litter box. At 3 weeks of age we begin putting on the harness to get them accustom to it. Then at 4 weeks the leash is added. Most of our babies are so tame that the will follow you around step for step without the harness and leash. We train them do it for their safety.

 

We guarantee you a healthy and socialized piglet. We do not guarantee weight. Tea Cup, Micro, Nano and Pixie for example are all labels and are NOT breeds of pig.

We have an adoption process. You must be approved before getting a baby from us. We have many questions. Please be sure to check the zoning laws in your area before you consider adding a pig to your family as a pet. Also it is vital that you find a vet in your area that will treat your pig prior to adoption.

We do NOT ship. We encourage you to come to us, visit and meet the parents. We will however for a fee, meet you.. If you are out of state a Health Certificate will be required. 

Included with all adoptions: litter box, litter, food, first toy, blanket, online support, harness and leash, baby pics, birth certificate, health guarantee.
